Biden is such an outspoken guy...I'm sure the GOP war machine will be scouring old senate video for every swear word he's ever used.
Disgusting, but it will be intriguing to watch, in a morbid sort of way.
Odd choice...I wouldn't have wagered on him. Delaware is one of the most safe Democratic states in the US, so the Democrats won't lose a Senate seat if they win the White House. But he also won't bring any Republican states to the Obama ticket.
From what I know of him, he's a bit of a blowhard, but otherwise seems reasonable and intelligent. And he'll likley appeal to blue collar whites, where Obama has been struggling. The swiftboating will be inevitable, but I'm sure Obama's people have already reviewed every questionable soundbite and decided he was worth the risk.
